Role Mission

Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will act as the architect of our collective social strategy in France, harmonizing social standards across all entities to create a unified and high-performing organizational culture. By providing strategic as well as hands-on counsel to our leadership team and securing our transformation projects through expert legal engineering, you will directly enable Shiftmove’s long-term growth and operational stability.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Harmonization: Design and deploy a common social architecture for our French operations to ensure consistency and equity across the organization.
• Collective Bargaining: Define and execute a multi-year strategy for collective agreements, ensuring alignment between legacy commitments and business agility.
• Institutional Dialogue: Lead and facilitate high-level discussions with employee representatives and trade unions to foster a transparent and constructive social climate.
• Institutional Governance: Oversee the full lifecycle of professional elections and the structuring of representative bodies (CSE) across the French perimeter.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners and Executives on both individual and collective matters,
• Legal Excellence: Ensure a culture of compliance and design training programs for the management community to standardize labor law best practices.
• Budgetary Oversight: Optimize and manage the legal and social relations budget with a focus on efficiency and value-creation.

Your Profile

• French Labor Law Mastery: In-depth knowledge of collective bargaining, professional elections, and information consultation
• Integration Experience: Significant experience in post-acquisition environments (post M&A), specifically in harmonizing social statuses and legal frameworks
• Negotiation Strategy: Proven ability to design, lead, and conclude complex collective agreements
• Strategic Diplomacy: Political intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive landscapes while maintaining constructive relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Budgetary Governance: Proficiency in managing legal fees and social-related expenditures with a focus on optimization
• Language Proficiency: French C2 and English C1
