Your Mission

As an Analytics Engineer, you will own the trusted analytical foundations behind Voyage Privé’s Shopping journey. You will transform Traffic, session, acquisition, attribution and booking data into reliable dbt models and contracts that help teams make faster, higher-quality decisions across our European travel platform.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Build trusted traffic models: own session, landing-page and acquisition-source logic with explicit grain and tested business rules.

• Own Shopping data products: develop maintainable dbt models and contracts that connect the funnel from first session to confirmed booking.

• Reconcile critical funnel metrics: align TTV, session rules and Traffic-to-Booking joins, resolving discrepancies and documenting authoritative definitions.

• Raise analytics engineering quality: strengthen PR reviews, automated tests, clean-code practices, Git workflows and technical documentation.

• Influence business decisions: partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Partners, Digital teams and business consumers to increase trust in data and shorten time-to-insight.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for builders who move fast, think big, and care deeply about creating impact that lasts.

• Relevant experience: you bring 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering or a closely related field.

• dbt and advanced SQL expertise: you have built production-grade transformations with clear grain, lineage, incremental logic and reusable modelling patterns.

• BigQuery data-modelling experience: you understand how to balance correctness, analytical usability, performance and cloud cost.

• Tracking and attribution knowledge: you can transform web or app events, ideally from Snowplow, into trustworthy sessions, acquisition sources and funnel metrics.

• Strong engineering discipline: you use automated testing, documentation, data contracts, code review and Git to protect downstream consumers.

• Autonomous and precise working style: you take end-to-end ownership, communicate clearly and spot inconsistencies before they undermine trust.

• Professional English proficiency: you can collaborate and explain technical decisions in English at an intermediate professional working level.

Nice to have: experience in e-commerce, travel, adtech or tracking-intensive environments
